An interactive Working Group 2 (WG2) meeting was held on 13 January 2026, bringing together 35 participants from across Europe. The meeting focused on advancing collaboration in research and capacity-building aimed at standardising patient safety outcome measures related to healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) in intensive care units.
We encourage dissemination of SAFE-ICU activities among bedside and Head ICU nurses, infection prevention and control nurses, educators, and hospital or national policy makers.
