On 23 November 2025, the first kick-off meeting of the SAFE-ICU COST Action was held in Brussels with the participation of 29 Management Committee members. The meeting focused on introducing the COST framework, defining the Action’s objectives, establishing the governance structure, and planning the first Grant Period activities and budget. Key leadership positions, including Chair, Vice-Chair, Working Group Leaders, and Science Communication Coordinator, were elected. The Management Committee also approved the Action structure, Core Group mandates, and Working Group membership evaluation criteria.
